Learn with our main character Missy as she explores a "closed exhibit" on her school's field trip! This unique coloring book teaches a young Black girl the history and lifetimes of 20 Black women Classical composers! Including composers such as Florence Price, Margaret Bonds, and Betty Jackson King, every composer's page includes an artwork that is titled after an actual music piece each woman has composed.
The second book of our "Rediscovering Black Music" series tells the stories and accomplishments of 20 Black Men composers. Including composers such as William Grant Still, Nathaniel Dett, and Samuel Coleridge Taylor, this book follows our main character, Lewis, as he attends his first orchestra performance and learns some Black music history along the way.
