Cedrice Young is a pianist, piano teacher and owner of Fancy Fingers Publishing, LLC. The vision for this business came to her in 2021 after becoming inspired by the repertoire of African American composers. Once she learned about the rich history of African American classical music, she created this brand to provide educational materials that are dedicated to teaching future generations the history and influence of African American composers and their repertoire.  

Cedrice is a graduate of Valdosta State University (B.A. in Music) and Georgia State University (M.M in Piano Pedagogy). She is a member of the Music Teachers National Association and Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women, Inc. She has been the recipient of various grants and awards such as the MTNA Foundation Fund Grant, the SAI Music Education Outreach Grant, and the SAI Professional Development Grant.

Cedrice currently serves as the Music Director of the Lutheran Church of Atonement in Atlanta, GA. She also maintains a roster of 30+ children as an independent piano teacher. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
