At Fancy Fingers Publishing, we are passionate about sharing the rich heritage and music of African American Classical composers Our books are designed to educate and inspire musicians of all ages and backgrounds.

During the height of COVID in 2020, Ms.Cedrice Young (aka Ms.Cece) was a 2nd year graduate student experiencing burnout and severe imposter syndrome. The years spent striving towards musical excellence in the realm of Mozart, Bach, Debussy, Rachmaninoff, and Grieg left her mentally exhausted, creatively lacking, and overwhelmingly defeated. During quarantine, she started exploring the history and repertoire of black composers. This discovery of Black composers re-ignited her passion for the classical music arts. In August of 2021, she created Fancy Fingers Publishing, LLC. For the past three years, she has attended various events and conferences to spread awareness of her business and engage the audience on the future of Black classical music.
